Online Anxiety Therapy in California

Compassionate, evidence-informed therapy for anxiety, stress, and life transitions — available virtually throughout California.

Understanding Anxiety

When worry starts to take over

Anxiety can show up in many forms. For some people it is a persistent undercurrent of dread — a sense that something is about to go wrong, even when life looks fine on the surface. For others it arrives as racing thoughts at 2 a.m., a tight chest before a difficult conversation, or a pattern of avoiding situations that feel unpredictable or overwhelming.

You may find yourself replaying past decisions, rehearsing future ones, or struggling to be present in your own life. Anxiety is not a character flaw or a sign of weakness. It is a signal — and with the right support, it is something you can learn to work with rather than be ruled by.

My Approach

A space to understand and redirect anxiety

Therapy offers a structured, confidential space to slow down and look honestly at what is driving your anxiety. Together we can identify the patterns of thought and behavior that keep you stuck, build practical skills for managing stress in the moment, and work toward the kind of life you actually want to be living.

My approach is interactive and collaborative. I provide real feedback in every session — not just reflection, but guidance. Drawing on empirically supported methods, I work with you to set meaningful goals and make steady, measurable progress toward them.

Virtual Sessions

Therapy that fits your life

All sessions are held virtually, which means you can meet with me from anywhere in California — whether you are in San Francisco, the Bay Area, or elsewhere in the state. Virtual therapy removes the commute and the waiting room, and many clients find it easier to open up from a familiar, private space.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes. I also offer half sessions for clients who are further along in their work and need less frequent or shorter check-ins. A free 20-minute phone consultation is available so you can share what brings you to therapy and ask any questions before committing to a first session.

Who I Work With

Is this the right fit for you?

You may be a good fit for my practice if you are an adult in California who is:

  • Feeling persistently overwhelmed, worried, or on edge
  • Navigating a significant life transition — a career change, a relationship shift, a loss, or a new chapter
  • Looking for a therapist who will engage actively, not just listen
  • Ready to do the work of building a more intentional life

I work with individuals. My practice has a particular emphasis on San Francisco and the Bay Area, though I see clients throughout California via virtual sessions.
